The results are in for the 2020 IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's

Canadians raised $5.1 million for the Walk at a critical time, when demand for services and supports continues to climb during a pandemic.

Though groups could not gather for the regular IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's this year, our supporters overwhelmed us with their creativity in “walking” in their own way.

Canadians raised $5.1 million for the Walk at a critical time, when demand for services and supports continues to climb during a pandemic.

Thousands cycled, ran, swim and more to fundraise, and more than 40,000 tuned in for a broadcast May 31st, the highest number of participants the Walk has ever seen.

The success of the virtual Walk this year would not have been possible without our partner, IG Wealth Management, whose 175 teams of walkers across Canada raised more than $350,000.

We are proud and humbled by the strong support shown by our walkers and volunteers during a year of financial crisis.
