Sophie Arsenault, First Link Coordinator

Sophie Arsenault

Hi! I’m Sophie Arsenault, the First Link Coordinator serving the Acadian Peninsula and Chaleur Region. I help support families affected by dementia, host programs, give presentations, and build relationships in the community.

Originally from Petit-Rocher, a small community in northern NB, I’m now living in Bathurst. In 2009, I got my diploma as a practical nurse. While working as a nurse, I had the opportunity to work in various departments with people of all ages. I’ve always had a desire to help people and make them as comfortable as possible.

The Alzheimer Society’s cause is very close to my heart because one of my close family members was diagnosed with the disease. Now, I hope to be able to make a difference for others on the dementia journey.
