Climb for Alzheimer's
Nearly two in every three people in B.C. are affected by dementia. While there’s no cure yet, together we can make sure no one has to face this disease alone. On September 24, brave 2,830 steps up the Grouse Grind® to show up for and fundraise for people living with Alzheimer’s disease on what can be an uphill journey.
Will you have the courage to climb?
We are thrilled to be back in person this year to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Climb for Alzheimer’s! Join us as we take on the legendary Grouse Grind® in North Vancouver on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Together, we can help build a province where people living with dementia, their caregivers, and their families are acknowledged, supported and included: a truly dementia-friendly B.C.
We’re inviting individuals, teams and the community at large to spread the word by bringing their network together to hike, donate and share courage with those who need it. Funds raised at the Climb will help the Alzheimer Society of B.C. provide vital programs and services for people affected by dementia.
Getting involved
Grow our community of courage by creating a team to tackle the Grouse Grind®. Register today and join hundreds of others showing up to help the Alzheimer Society of B.C support people affected by dementia.
Participants can register as individuals or as a team and are encouraged to share their hiking and climbing challenges online. Register for a small fee to get your 11th anniversary pack full of goodies to get you ready to climb “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster”, otherwise known as the Grouse Grind®.
Want to participate in the Climb without doing the Grouse Grind®?
Not a problem, you can take part in the Summit Stroll! Strollers will take the gondola up the mountain, make their way around the exhibits at the peak.
Come join us for a day to remember.
