Plan a legacy

Through our Gift Planning Program, you can plan your charitable gift to provide the greatest benefit to you, your family and the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.

You may choose to make your gift during your lifetime or through your estate. You can also join together with a group of family and friends to create a named fund to honour or memorialize a loved one.

Give at work

Payroll deductions

Organizations can make the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region their charity-of-choice through payroll deductions. Employees can make a donation each pay or as a one-time annual gift.

Matching Gift programs

Many companies encourage their employees, spouses or retirees to contribute to charities by offering a "matching gift" program. The company donates funds to match your contribution to the same charity. Matching Gifts programs increase the value of your gift and make a greater impact in your community. By taking advantage of your company's Matching Gift program, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of your contribution.

Donate a car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.

When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat or motorcycle to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location).

Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.
