Be a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society of York Region on your time on your terms!

The Alzheimer Society of York Region relies on people like you to help us support people living with dementia, and generate new knowledge about this fatal disease.

Here are some ways that you can help us generate even more funds for our mission.

  • Encourage people to donate to AS York instead of bringing a hostess gift
  • Ask your company to support AS York and York Region residents impacted by dementia over the holidays
  • Ask about employee matching programs
  • Host a bake sale, smoothie bar or hot chocolate station
  • Have a garage sale or car in support of AS York

Alzheimer Society of York Region annual events

The Alzheimer Society of York Region hosts an number of events each year. People can support them by purchasing a sponsorship; sharing the information with friends or family; volunteering; and attending the event.

The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's

Thank you for participating in this year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's. This year, we raised more than $65,000 to support programs and services for York Region residents impacted by dementia.

Social with a Purpose is a new way to make connections while staying apart. Host a fundraiser your way in support of the Alzheimer Society of York Region.

Emergency Care Response Fund

The Emergency Care Response Fund was created in the early stages of COVID-19 as a way to help York Region residents impacted by dementia in crisis. It's an ongoing fund to help our most vulnerable residents. Learn more.

Antonella Morale Giles and her sister Belinda Morale Smith will donate a portion of their yearly sales to AS York from their curated website for women. Learn more.

Register - IG Walk for Alzheimer's 2022

Registration is now open for the virtual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's. This May, walk 17,000 steps - one step for every York Region resident impacted by dementia. Raise funds to support programs and services for people impacted by this fatal disease.

Rose & Flair Lifestyle is a curated website for women. Created by Antonella Morale Giles and her sister Belinda Morale Smith, the website is in honour of their mom, Rosalba Morale, who lived with young-onset Alzheimer's disease. A portion of their sales will be donated to AS York.
