Volunteer Roles

We are excited that you are interested in volunteering with Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington and look forward to getting to know you. 

There are many different ways to volunteer with the Society - whether you want to put your office skills to work, assist with our virtual programming, make rockin’ playlists or follow up phone calls - there is something for everyone!

General orientation, as well as role-specific training, is provided for each volunteer. 

We want to ensure you have a successful volunteer experience and are here to support you!

Volunteers are essential to Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington. We will do our best to place all volunteers who apply. However, Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington provides services to a vulnerable sector of our community. While our chapter appreciates all offers to volunteer, we also recognize our moral and legal obligation to screen volunteer applicants thoroughly.

Please note that the timeline for being placed once your interview has taken place can take 4 to 6 weeks (allowing sufficient time for reference checks, etc.)
