2023 IG Wealth Management Walk For Alzheimer's
Join us for our annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's at Brock University on Sunday, May 28, 2023!
Walk 11,420 steps - one step for each person living with dementia in Niagara.
Get your steps in:
- On Walk Day (May 28)
- Every day of May leading up to Walk Day (if you're up for a challenge!)
- Collectively throughout the month of May
Agenda:
- 9:30 am: Registration and Wellness Fair open
- 10:30 am: Registration closes
- 11:00 am: Walk begins
- 12:30 pm: Wellness Fair ends
This year's Walk will take place indoors, with a small portion veering into a flat, concrete, accessible, outdoor area (weather permitting). If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility, please reach out to Karen Post, Manager of Fund Development: kpost@alzheimerniagara.ca
Wellness Fair
Join multiple community organizations and businesses as they showcase their wellness products, services and activities on Walk Day. The Wellness Fair will be available from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in the Guernsey Market at Brock University.

Raise $100 to receive an IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's t-shirt!
For every $50 raised in pledges (up to a maximum of 25 tickets), you will be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 travel credit donated by VIA Rail Canada!

Kelsey's Fundraising Night
Join us on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, for a Walk for Alzheimer's Kickoff Dinner at Kelsey's Original Roadhouse (10 YMCA Dr., St. Catharines)! A portion of your bill will be donated back to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region beginning at 6:30 pm.
About the Event
The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's is Canada’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, taking place in more than 200 communities across the country. In 2022, Canadians participating in the Walk raised an amazing $5.7 million.
Since 2015, the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s has raised over $41 million for people living with dementia and their care partners. Thank you for making a difference!
